Webinar: ACTIVA
Fortunately, we live in a society where life expectancy has gradually increased. Thus, in the last decade there has been an increase of approximately 25% ...
ACTIVA is an intelligent decision system based on activity recognition in the operational environment of aging, and is funded under the State Program for R&D&I Oriented to the Challenges of Society (RTI2018-098979-A-I00 financed by MCIN/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033/, ERDF "Una manera de hacer Europa").
It is capable of monitoring in real time the location and daily activity of the habitant and warns of changes in activity through notifications
Allows caregivers to keep track of multiple people simultaneously, ensuring greater efficiency and anticipation of any situation
Provides an improvement in the quality of life in elderly people who have some degree of physical or cognitive dependence
Generates additional security for system users at all times.
ACTIVA is an intelligent system responsible for the recognition of activities in the aging operating environment based on the MERCEDES system (http://asia.ujaen.es/). It is composed of several individual elements: sensors, monitoring software and the intelligent core. ACTIVA works just as our own body would. The sensors are our senses, the intelligent core is the brain that processes all the information that comes from them, and the monitoring software is the voice that helps us communicate with professionals, and all these elements together compose the ACTIVA system.
The ACTIVA system is designed to detect in real time the location within the enclosed space where dependant elderly people live, as well as the daily activities limited to this environment. All this information is displayed in two different methods:
This application is designed to provide a method of communication with professionals. Through this tool, we show the last activity performed, the current location and the remaining battery of the activity wristband for each user.
Each activity has a color associated with it based on its hazardousness. The higher the probability of an accident occurring during the activity, the more dangerous it will be. The colors are as follows:
On the other hand, it is also possible to consult the historical data of each habitant at any time.
The application also has a notification system to alert professionals of anomalous situations or new activities that are detected.
This notification system continues to be active in the background even if the user closes the application.
In addition, through the FIWOO dashboards, system administrators can view all the data that has been collected, display graphs of interest and create intelligent rules to report certain problems such as low battery.
